The company was founded by Beth and Gary Harper. The couple have a passion for rivers and share that in their personal approach to business. This can be seen in their focus on customer service. In November the husband-and-wife team were inducted into the Southern Appalachian Paddlesport Museum Whitewater Hall of Fame. This is a great achievement that is widely recognised in the white-water community. It shows that the Harper’s have “profoundly and positively impacted the sport of white-water paddling in the Southern Appalachians”. Therefore, proving their influence and knowledge of the industry.
